The polarization resistance (Rp) of the ClER in chlorine saturated NaCl-HCl solutions was measured on Ti/RuO2 electrodes varying the chloride ion activity, the partial pressure of chlorine and pH. These results were used for the kinetic analysis of the ClER mechanism.
