Resumen:
Abstract Since 1996 a multidisciplinary team in boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) was organized at the Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) in collaboration with the Roffo Institute of Oncology, University of Buenos Aires. Since 1996 a multidisciplinary team in boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) was organized at the Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) in collaboration with the Roffo Institute of Oncology, University of Buenos Aires. The purpose of the Project is to develop BNCT for those cancer patients having poor prognosis with the present therapeutical options. A number of research lines were developed  as well as the technology involved to reach that goal. A brief description of the activities performed by the group and the future plans are presented.
