Importancia del empleo de un patrón de 129I para la medición de 125I.

In the present paper the advantages of a 129I standard are shown, which has been used for the experimental verification of the everyday constant response of the gamma counter used for the measurement of 125I, as well as for the determination of the counting efficiency. This value was also determined by a coincident technique. The results obtained by either method were compared and found to be equal. Some theoretical considerations concerning the utilized equations are analyzed
