Resumen:
Abstract. We simulated brightening sliding down along a coronal loop.We solved the MHD equations with a finite volume scheme centered incells. For the numerical fluxes we used a TVD scheme of Harten-Yee with an approximate Riemann solver. We reproduced observational curves that describe the dynamics of loop brightening as shock waves.
