Resumen:
Argumentation has evolved as a powerful paradigm to formalize commonsense qualitative reasoning. Several argumentation frameworks have been developed, notably Defeasible Logic Programming (DeLP), a logic programming approach to argumentation which has been proven to be successful for many real-world applications. Recently the notion of accrual of arguments has received some attention from the argumentation community. Three principles for argument accrual have been identified as necessary to hold in argumentation frameworks. In this paper we propose an approach to model the accrual of arguments based on the language and notion of argument of DeLP. We will analyze the above principles in the context of our proposal, studying as well other interesting properties.
