Resumen:
Well-known de nitions of de Morgan algebras and related structures are given, with the description of the dual category. A construction of Monteiro for the free de Morgan algebra is generalized to give the free algebras in the class of k-cyclic de Morgan E-algebras (these are algebras (A; h), where A is a de Morgan algebra and h is an endomorphism of A such that hk = id).
