Vertebrates of the Late Pleistocene of the Arroyo Ensenada basin (Diamante Departement, Entre Ríos Province, Argentina). Remains of vertebrates coming from the Arroyo Feliciano Formation outcroping in the arroyo Ensenada (Diamante Department, Entre Ríos Province), are described. Among the mammals it is significant the record of Glyptodon perforatus that restricts the age of the sediments to the Lujanian. (Late Pleistocene- Early Holocene). The faunal assemblage is similar to that of the Pampean region of the same age; however some singularities were determined such as the size decrease in some megamammals, and the size increment among the mammals of small to medium size. These particularities can be linked with isolation processes between the Mesopotamic and Pampen regions during the Pleistocene. On the other hand, this fauna shows a significant presence of brasilian species.
