Resumen:
A model which describes the dynamics of an externally-driven laser in addition to white and colored noise, is presented. The system is known to have a Hopf bifurcation at the phase locking point. The resonances apparent before the bifurcation point is reached and are a result of gain saturation and phase excursion phenomena. Well above this point, the spectrum is the same as a frequency locked laser when noise is present. Results for periodic (i.e. time dependent) driving forces are also presented.
