ResumenEl presente estudio describe pragmática, semántica ysintácticamente los contextos de uso de la forma che. Propone un atributo semántico como la característica quejustifica que los hablantes elijan sistemáticamente che en lugar de otras formas para contextos aparentementedisímiles. En el marco de la Gramática cognitiva (Langacker 1987 y Lakoff 1987), siguiendouna metodología cuali-cuantitativa, se analizan datos de la ciudad de BuenosAires provenientes de la Norma Culta1a y 2a Época y del PRESEEA. AbstractThestudy describes pragmatically, semantically andsyntactically the contexts of use of the form che. It proposes one semantic attribute as the characteristic thatjustifies that speakers chooses chesystematically from a range of words for apparently different context. In theframework of the Cognitive Grammar view (Langacker 1987 and Lakoff 1987),through a quali-quantitative methodology, we analyze data coming from the Norma Culta 1st and 2ndPeriod and from the PRESEEA of Buenos Aires.
