Resumen:
Three new species of Capsicum from eastern coastal Brazil are described and illustrated. Capsicum pereirae from Espirito Santo and Minas Gerais is related to C. flexuosum and C. schottianum. Capsicum friburgense, endemic to a restricted area in Nova Friburgo (Rio de Janeiro state) is similar to C. scolnikianum, C. cardenasii, and C. mirabile. Capsicum hunzikerianum from Sao Paulo is closely allied to C. cornutum. A key to differentiate the wild Capsicum species from Brazil is provided.
