Parameter identification in Burger´s equation

We develop a technique for identifying unknown coefficients in a nonlinear parabolic partial differential equation. The identufication scheme is based on quasilinearization and is applied to nonlinear equations where the unknown coefficients are spatially varying We present several numerical examples which demostrate the perfomance of the quasilinearization scheme.
