Resumen:
Coarse-grained dynamic computations of a widely studied system as BPTI were carried out. A folding scenario was found whereby the structural fluctuations in the molecule are only suppressed once a nucleus is formed. An analysis of the time-dependent thermodynamic as well as kinetic data revealed that this nucleus is the result of a rough search in conformation space.
