Resumen:
In this work we develop a theoretical and methodological framework in order to study the production-consumption process of lithic assemblages. From our perspective the context of use concept and practice theory provide heuristic tools for understanding the role and influence of decisions that intervene in technological strategies. We discuss the form-function relationship and propose a method to disentangle this issue combining use-wear analysis and techno-morphological approach. Case studies from Tierra del Fuego (Argentina) are presented with the aim of supporting our proposal.
