Resumen:
Phosphonium ILs are used as ion pairing agents for highly efficient microextraction of Arsenic . It has been reported this use with trihexyltetradecylphosphonium chloride (Monasterio & Wuilloud, 2010). However, other phosphonium ILs have not been used for a detailed study. Arsenic determination was made by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS). It has been reached a 100 % of recovery for the analyte with several evaluated ionic liquids and a preconcentration factor of 62.5 has been obtained. The detection limit was 0.001 μg L-1. The use of organic solvents was significantly diminished, turning this methodology into an environmentally-friendly alternative fitting the concept of green chemistry.
