ABSTRACT A list of the 431 species of Miridae known from Argentina is presented. Of this total, 86 spe­cies were named in the "Catalogue of the Miridae of the World" (Carvalho, 1-5), which was used as an important manual for this list. A map with the abbreviations herein used of the 23 Argentinean provinces is included. When­ever the feeding habits are known, they are mentioned. Host plants are listed at the end, in­cluding order and family. A complete bibliography for Argentinean Miridae, after Carvalho’s Catalogue, is also given.
