Resumen:
The authors describe a new genus and two new species of Mirinae, Resthenini, as follows: Nanniresthenia minor n. sp., Argentina; N. golbachi n. sp., Argentina; Cephaloresthenia n. gen., C. oranensis (Carvalho & Carpintero), type; C. proluteiceps (Carvalho); C. sanjavierus (Carvalho); C. alvarengai (Carvalho) are transferred to the new genus. Included notes and taxonomical corrections. Figures of habitus and male genitalia are given.
