Abstract: The 185 types of Miridae (Heteroptera) deposited in the Scientific Department of Entomology of the Museo de La Plata were listed. These types belong to 119 species and 3 subspecies. They were contributed by thefollowing authors: Berg (50), Carvalho (34), Carvalho & Carpintero (2), Carvalho & Costa (1), Carvalho & Dutra (1), Carvalho & Felipe (1), Carvalho & Ferreira (2), Carvalho & Fontes (18), Carvalho & Gomes (5), Carvalho & Maldonado-Capriles (1), Carvalho & Schaffner (1) and Carvalho & Wallerstein (2). For each taxon, complete information about original and valid names, publication, subsequent combination, collection data and condition is given.
