Resumen:
Iron-containing molecular sieves MCM-41 have been successfully synthesized by a direct incorporation method of the metal in the initial synthesis gel. The influence of the metallic content and the hydrothermal treatment in the obtained solids, were evaluated changing the initial Si/Fe molar ratio (60 and 20) and increasing the hydrothermal time (0 to 5 days). Characterization of these solids has been done by XRD, UV-Vis DR, ICP, N2 adsorption and the magnetic behavior was evaluated by the magnetization dependence on the magnetic field (up to 1.5 T) at room temperature. The results show that the structural, chemical and magnetic properties of the resulting materials strongly depend on the hydrothermaltreatment time and the iron content.
