Resumen:
We compared the population size frequency distributions of crustaceans and fishes that could be of commercial interest. The length composition of Munida subrugosa was polimodal, with 3 modal groups. There were differences in the size composition of Notocrangon antarcticus between South Georgia Islands and South Orkney Islands, but there are no differences in the sex ratio for both areas. All Antarctic fish species showed differences in their size frequency distribution between the northern and the southern branch of the Scotia Arc. The length-weight relationship for all Antarctic fishes (Champsocephalus gunnari, Gobionotothen gibberifrons and Lepidonotothen larsini) was allometric (b > 3).
