Resumen:
Two alternative definitions of lacunarity for Cantor fractal sets are presented. The first one compares a given lacunar Cantor set with an equivalent alacunar one but only for the first iteration, leading to reasonably lacunarity values for a wide variety of lacunar sets. For the second one the iteration as a mean to reach the real Cantor set is used. This produces a series of indices that can be transformed into a texture index. Furthermore, a strategy for determining the texture is presented. As Cantor prefractal objects are linear structures, planar grids containing those structures are easily prepared, like Ronchi grids. Then, by applying the optical moiré technique to such planar fractal grids, the texture of the Cantor prefractal is measured.
