The best specimens came from El Peñón pegmatite in rosecrystals of about 1.5 cm long with the forms: a {100); b {0101; m11101; s {121}.Optical propenies are: a = 1.638; fi = 1,662; y = 1,667; 23, = 45° (-); Dispersion r < y strong;X = b; Y = a; Z ? c. G = 3,095. Chemical analysis gavie: RO, = 30,24; Al 203 = 24,19; Mn0 = 25.30;Fe0 = 5,67; H 20 = 14,60, is also mailable X ray data.
