Resumen:
In this work we analyze the validity of recently proposedextensions of the Quasiparticle Random Phase Approximation (QRPA).Particularly, we focus our attention on the so-called FullyRenormalized QRPA (FRQRPA). We found that the results of thisapproximation do not differ from the results of the QRPA. Thisfinding is supported by a detailed comparison between bothformalisms, their assumptions and approximations, in the contextof realistic calculations.
