Resumen:
We present two different geometrical approaches to discuss light propagation in dispersive media in static and stationary spacetimes. We show how these methods are powerful to obtain higher order corrections in a gauge-invariant way and to study the motion of (charged)-test massive particles. We also discuss expressions for the optical scalars in terms of components of the energy-momentum tensor.
