Resumen:
A novel magnetic composite constituted by graphene oxide (GO) and Permalloy nanowires (Py NWs) [1] is presented. Structural characterization of the composite as well as individual components was performed by SEM, SAXS, AFM and XRD.Vibrational characterization and chemical composition were carried out by Raman spectroscopy and XPS, respectively. Magnetic properties were determined using a VSM and MOKE, while electrochemical behaviour was monitored by EIS. These latter results reveal that a preferential electron conduction mediated by the Py NWs randomly distributed among GO layers takes place towards the substrate [2]. Thus, we propose such system as promising candidates for the development of cheap molecular sensing nanostructured devices detection of pollutants.[1] S. Raviolo, D. M. Arciniegas Jaimes, N.
