Resumen:
We analyze the influence of self-propelled agents movement on the propagation of diseases exhibiting SIRS + I dynamics, where vaccinated (immune) agents are taken into account. The transmission of the disease depends on contact time between a healthy agent and an infected one. The model allows us to explore both the effects of the spatial dynamics of individuals in the evolution of epidemics and the role of population vaccination as a strategy to prevent them. In particular, we study the impact of the speed of agents for different population densities. The question we ask ourselves is under what dynamic circumstances this sub-population of immunized or vaccinated agents functions as a shielding for susceptible agents.
