Resumen:
High-resolution Kb X-ray emission spectroscopy (HR-XES) allows studying the chemical environment of transition metals in peroid 4 for a wide variety of materials. For obtaining quantitative information from HR-XES experiments a rigorous analysis must be performed on order to detect and quantify the slight variations in the X-ray spectrum and relate them with the local geometry and oxidation state of the cnetral atom. In this work we perfomr such analysis for a series of Cr and Mn compounds.
