Resumen:
In this paper, the modeling and control of a flyback converter used to dim a LED array is presented. Feedback is designed based on the linearized version of the true averaged state-space model of the converter. The dynamics is analyzed for all operation range and then, the worst case is chosen. Since the driver is part of anintegrated circuit, there exist limitations in the type of controller to be implemented and in the desired performance. Nevertheless, commercial specifications are fulfilled for all output current values. The performance of the closed-loop system is corroborated via numerical simulations.
