Resumen:
The history of philosophy deals with past philosophical problems which most of the time philosophers tried to solve by means of concepts. The wide perspective offered by a contextual history of philosophy shows that, on innumerable occasions, such concepts originated from or were shared with other disciplines. Now, in which sense could those concepts be qualified as philosophical concepts? Is the historical reconstruction of these conceptual multifarious roots relevant to contemporary philosophical interests? I'll try to answer these questions by starting from the case study of the concept of laws of nature.
