Resumen:
We have extended a recently developed accelerated stokesian dynamics simulation method to study the hydrodynamic function and the associated wavenumber dependent collective diffusion coefficient, of concentrated charge-stabilized and neutral colloidal suspensions. Our results are compared with experimental data and available theoretical predictions. Most notably we show that the behavior of the hydrodynamic function in dense charge-stabilized can be understood without invoking the questionnable concept of hydrodynamic screening.
