Resumen:
A fossil insect from the Baqueró Group, Anfiteatro de Ticó Formation (Lower Cretaceous, 120 Ma) is described. It is the first fossil petalurid dragonfly to have been recorded from Argentina. The specimen comes from the Atlantic side of southern Patagonia. Some Recent petalurid species still live in the cold humid forests of Andean south Patagonia.
