Resumen:
A new genus with a new species, Perfectibittacus laetus gen. et sp. nov., and a new species, Preanabittacus validus sp. nov., are described and illustrated. Both of them belong to the extant family Bittacidae (Mecoptera). Both specimens were collected from the Middle Jurassic of Jiulongshan Formation at Daohugou in Inner Mongolia, China. Perfectibittacus laetus gen. et sp. nov., an exquisitely preserved Bittacidae specimen, appears to be closely related to the genera Pleiobittacus and Orthobittacus for their similar wing venation. Based on characters of Preanabittacus validus sp. nov., the diagnosis of the genus Preanabittacus is revised.
