Abstract Allele frequencies of 15 short tandem repeats (STRs) loci included in the PowerPlex 16 kit (Promega Corp., Madison, WI, USA) were obtained from a sample set of unrelated individuals inhabiting Rio Negro (N = 593) and Chubut (N = 320) provinces of the Argentinean Patagonia.
