Resumen:
The phase evolution during the mechanical alloying of Al80Fe20 and Al85Fe15 powder mixtures was studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy and X ray diffraction. Disordered intermetalic compound and amorphous alloy formation were observed respectively. The evolution of the relative fraction of these phases with the incresing milling time up to the completion of the reaction is analized
