The study presents a quantification the potential variations in mean and extreme climate conditions arising from the application of stratospheric aerosol injection compared to a business-as-usual scenario of continued rapid increase in GHG. Of particular interest is the assessment of regional changes in climate extremes of temperature and precipitation, including analyses at both annual and seasonal time scales.
