We discuss what is the impact of the new spin dependent data sets available in the determination of the gluon polarization; what is the specific role of each of them; to what extent both analysis agree. Specifically, if there is some impact and the different data sets agree on it, what is the emerging picture we face now for the gluon polarization; what do we know now, what do we still don´t know.
