The project involved for the evaluation of the applicability of membrane technology to the removal of organic compounds from water. 4 polymeric (e.g. based on cellulose acetate, polyamide) nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes of different molecular weight cut off (MWCO) and surface hydrophobicity were tested.
