In this work, a mathematical model for a discontinuous reactor is extended for describing the Prepolymerization stage carried out in a single continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR).  To this effect, the CSTR is diveded in segregated elements that are considered as batch reactors. For each element, the batch model is applied.
