Resumen:
A rapid procedure for semi-preparative scale purification of apolipoproteinA-I from human plasma is described. Two chromatographic steps on teh same size exclusion HPLC column are used. In the first one high density lipoproteins (HDL) are separated from other serum lipoproteins. In the second one, highly purified apoA-I is obtained from delipidated beta mercaptoethanol-treated HDL.
