Resumen:
One of the strategic objective of the INTEGRAL mission is a regular survey of the galactic plane complemented by a deep exposure of the Galactic Centre. This study is carrying out by the imaging capability of IBIS, which allows the detection of sources at the mCrab level with an angular resolution of 12 arcmin and a point souce location accuracy of ~ 2 arcmin. During its two first years, IBIS has discovered more than 70 new X-ray/gamma-ray sources, some of which have hard spectrum and display high level of variability. These objects, could be a new population of binary systems, hosting probably a neutron star (NS) or a black hole enshrouded by dust. In this paper, I summarize the results until now obtained by the IBIS telescope and some possible origins for this new class of galactic sources are delineated.
