Resumen:
Pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) are a special category of polymeric materials that are permanently tacky at the operating temperature and can adhere any given substrate under a slight pressure in a short time, without any chemical reaction, phase change or solvent evaporation. Driven by needs for regulatory compliance and environmental issues, bio-based PSAs have emerged as green alternatives that can compete with petroleum-derived ones, with the additional benefit of being sustainable. The motivation of this study was the design of completely renewable PSAs with tuneable properties based on epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) and sebacic acid (SA), through environmentally and sustainable manufacture process
