Resumen:
An observer based algorithm is proposed to estimate components of a distorted grid voltage. It is assumed that the grid voltage is composed of a fundamental component, a sub-harmonic and a dc component. The main goal behind this assumption is to consider many cases appearing in a modern grid, micro grid and nano grid. In such cases, nonlinear devices used in power networks could lead to the appearance of distorted voltages and currents containing these kinds of components. For instance, it is well-known that a phenomenon named sub-synchronous oscillation could appear in series compensated lines at transmission level. It is also assumed that both the fundamental and sub-harmonic frequencies are unknown, then the algorithm includes terms for the estimation of these frequencies. The performance of the proposed algorithm is tested via simulation results.
