Resumen:
The homopolar synchronous machine is considered for being used in a highperformance flywheel system. A model-based power flow control law is developed using the feedback linearization methodology based on the model in armature voltage space vector reference frame. Also, is included the restriction due to the use of a pulse amplitude drive modulation. A complete order Luenberger observer for the torque angle and rotor speed is developed to implement a sensorless control strategy. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the performance.
