Resumen:
CRETACEOUS CONTINENTAL TETRAPODS FROM ARGENTINA: AN UPDATED SYNTHESIS. The Argentinean territory has the most extensive and informative record of tetrapods of the South Hemisphere. The increase of finds produced in recent years has permitted to devise an adequate systematic framework to reinterpret the evolution of the faunas during more than 70 million years. In this work, an updated synthesis of the knowledge about the continental tetrapod fauna from the Cretaceous of Argentina is presented, based on the record of anurans, turtles, lepidosaurs, crocodiles, pterosaurs, dinosaurs, and mammals.
