Resumen:
Theropod unguals from the Lameta Formation (Maastrichtian) exhibit distinctive features, not found in other theropods. For this reason, their taxonomic placement remained unknown since such unguals were firstly described in 1933. However, recent discoveries of abelisaurid remains in Patagonia indicate that the Indian theropod unguals correspond to abelisaurid feet. Here, we offer novel information of this yet unidentified part of the skeleton of this diverse group of Gondwanan Cretaceous predators.
