Resumen:
Fossil cryogenic forms of Southern South America. A register of fossil
cryogenic forms is made to establish a neogenic climatostratigraphical order
based on the most important traces left behind by the cryomeres. The cryogenic
characteristics, studied in order to reconstruct the paleoclimatic history of
South America, indicate a great efficiency of the cryogenesis but under
atypical conditions in comparison to those of the Northern Hemisphere.
