Resumen:
Argentina records one species of Cymidae represented in one genus.The Lygaeidae long contained a subfamily Cyminae with two tribes, Cymini and Ninini Barber (see J. Slater (1964, 383) and J. Slater and O?Donnell (1995, 40). Each of those tribes has now been elevated to the family levelby Henry (1997a, 296).A revision of this family, as a tribe of the lygaeid subfamily Cyminae for the world, was published by Hamid (1975, 53?97), who included keys to the genera and species.
