Resumen:
We perform a cladistic analysis of 70 species of the Pantomorus-Naupactus complex (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) from North, Central and South America, using 813 characters (65 external morphological, 21 from the genitalia, and 726 molecular, consisting on COI sequences. The parsimony analysis resulted in 4 similar MP trees. We conclude that Pantomorus, as previously defined, is probably polyphyletic.
