Revision sistemática del género Cyrtomon Schönherr (Coleoptera: Curculionidae)

The genus Cyrtomon Schönherr, 1823 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) is HEREIN revised, the most important taxonomic structures are illustrated and maps of geographic distribution are provided. This weevil genus includes six valid species: C. gibber (Pallas, 1781), C. pistor (Boheman, 1833), C. luridus (Boheman, 1840), C. inhalatus (Germar, 1824), C. glaucus (Bovie, 1907) and C. ovalipennis (Hustache, 1938). The former four taxa are probably closely related and they are herein assigned to the gibber species group. The latter two species were previously classified in Priocyphus Hustache, 1939 and herein transferred to Cyrtomon, consequently, new combinations were established for them.
