Resumen:
This is the first record of the presence of males in the populations of the species Graphognathus peregrinus (Curculionidae: Naupactini). This finding is significant, because the species is known only from females, and in several countries where it was introduced (USA, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa) it reproduces parthenogenetically, same as the related species Graphognathus leucoloma and G. minor. On the contrary, the population from Argentina, Entre Ríos province, includes both sexes. This finding suggests that G. peregrinus would show sexual reproduction in its original area of distribution.
