Resumen:
On the basis of a rich collection from western and northwestern Argentina,Eusphenopterissanjuanina (Ku rt z) C8sa ri has been studiedin detail. An emended diagnosis including characteristics of the organizationof the frond and the related fructification is presented.The distribution of the genus is enla rged and the species is recognizedas a characteristic element in Argentin ian Carboniferousfloras.
